Sweet Strawberry Cobbler

Sometimes, you get SUPER bored. During times like that I think to myself, "What do you want to do?"  Then I reply to myself with, "I really don't know." Then, I eventually come to the answer. On this particular occasion - I replied with, "I know! Let's bake!" But if you're lazy (like I can be), you think baking is too much work sometimes. I ended up searching the web for super easy baking recipes. Finally, I found something that used Bisquick Mix, because everything's easier with Bisquick Mix. So without further ado - I present to you: Sweet Strawberry Cobbler.

Step 1

For this recipe, you will need 1 pint (2 cups) of fresh strawberries, 1 cup Bisquick Mix, 1 cup sugar, 1 egg, and 1 stick of butter.

Step 2

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Step 3

Remove the leaves and quarter the strawberries.

Step 4

Lay the quartered strawberries evenly in your baking dish.

Step 5

Mix your Bisquick Mix and your sugar - your dry ingredients.

 Step 6

Mix your egg into the dry mixture. Please note that the mixture is clumpy. It is supposed to be like that.

Step 7

Sprinkle your mixture onto your strawberry baking dish.

Step 8

Microwave your butter until it is melted all the way.

Step 9

Drizzle your butter over your strawberries and dry mixture.

Step 10

Bake your cobbler for 35-40 minutes.

Step 11

Waiting... waiting... waiting...

Done! Your cobbler should look just like this when it's finished!

Feel free to top with whipped cream or serve with ice cream! I hope this dessert tastes as good to you as it does to me! Enjoy!

(I got master whipped cream skills. Don't Judge.)

The original recipe came from Mostly Homemade Mom.  You can get her original recipe here!

PJ Day!

Today, was the best school day EVER!!! First, if you read my title, we had PJ day! A.K.A. Pajama Day! Second, it was a half day! Lastly, we got a sneak peek at our report cards. I got a B in math and an A in everything else! It felt weird, because I have never gotten a B on my report card, but a B isn't bad. It just means I need to work harder and try harder. I hope all of you also had a great day!!!

Boooooooooo!!! Halloween for me was a blast! I was Hermione Granger, from Harry Potter. It's my favorite series and I'm on the fifth book, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. My costume only came with a robe, so my mom bought me a white shirt, I borrowed my dad's tie, and my dad made me a wand! I also made my stuffed cat Crookshanks for Halloween! My sister, Gianna, was Angelica, from Pirates of the Caribbean (she didn't watch the movie though!). My other sisters, Isabella and Evangeline, were a witch and Little Red Riding Hood. After Trick 'er Treating, We watched Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. It was a great Halloween!!!

Sleepovers with Tita and Tito

buying treats
baking brownie cupcakes
I want you to know about sleepovers with Tita and Tito because they're crazy and fun.  Gianna comes to sleep over, too.  First, we go to Target and buy a lot of candy, a $5.00 movie, and maybe some juice.  Sometimes, we do a craft.  Next, we make the beds on the couch.  They're very cozy.  Then we eat dinner and set up the snacks.  MOVIE TIME!!!  We all hop on the bed and watch the movie.  We eat while we watch.  One time, I mixed a mango drink and strawberry lemonade.  It was so good, I called it Paradise Punch!  After the movie, it is 11:00!!!  Then, we all go to bed.  In the morning, sometimes, we do another craft.  We also play marbles.  I collect and trade light green and blue ones.  Tito collects and trades the red and orange ones.  Tita and Gianna don't care what they get.  Then,
Gianna and I go home.

My Funny Gianna

One time,
Gianna kicked me on the bottom
and said,
And again she kicked me on the bottom
and said,
gimme that!
Then she said,
this is yours.
And then she said,
where is it?
 And then, right after that,
she said,
that's yours!

How's It Going At School?

O.K. Now you're wondering how it's going at school. Right?  Well, it's going great! At first, we had a teacher named Mrs. Redcross. We had Mrs. Redcross because Mrs. Talley was having a baby boy. But finally, Mrs. Talley came back on October 22, 2012.   We are having so much fun. Sometimes, when we have free time - she lets us go on the computer. She even lets us go to our own website. I have two best friends named Allyson and Alexandra. They are the best! Mrs. Talley is the best teacher ever!

The Sisters Club

I love this book because it's about three sisters.
Gianna and I are hosting a sister club like the sisters do in the book.
This book is funny because the mom thinks her babies are boys, but they're girls.  The mom and dad even call their babies boy names: Alex, Stevie, and Joey.

Alex calls herself the FOBS: first, oldest, and best sister.
Stevie came up with the sisters club.
Joey likes to write.
Mom has her own cooking show, and Dad cracks everybody up.
