Sweet Strawberry Cobbler

Sometimes, you get SUPER bored. During times like that I think to myself, "What do you want to do?"  Then I reply to myself with, "I really don't know." Then, I eventually come to the answer. On this particular occasion - I replied with, "I know! Let's bake!" But if you're lazy (like I can be), you think baking is too much work sometimes. I ended up searching the web for super easy baking recipes. Finally, I found something that used Bisquick Mix, because everything's easier with Bisquick Mix. So without further ado - I present to you: Sweet Strawberry Cobbler.

Step 1

For this recipe, you will need 1 pint (2 cups) of fresh strawberries, 1 cup Bisquick Mix, 1 cup sugar, 1 egg, and 1 stick of butter.

Step 2

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Step 3

Remove the leaves and quarter the strawberries.

Step 4

Lay the quartered strawberries evenly in your baking dish.

Step 5

Mix your Bisquick Mix and your sugar - your dry ingredients.

 Step 6

Mix your egg into the dry mixture. Please note that the mixture is clumpy. It is supposed to be like that.

Step 7

Sprinkle your mixture onto your strawberry baking dish.

Step 8

Microwave your butter until it is melted all the way.

Step 9

Drizzle your butter over your strawberries and dry mixture.

Step 10

Bake your cobbler for 35-40 minutes.

Step 11

Waiting... waiting... waiting...

Done! Your cobbler should look just like this when it's finished!

Feel free to top with whipped cream or serve with ice cream! I hope this dessert tastes as good to you as it does to me! Enjoy!

(I got master whipped cream skills. Don't Judge.)

The original recipe came from Mostly Homemade Mom.  You can get her original recipe here!
