Band Assessment

Abstract Art Pictures Collection

I love music, so much. Music can change people, which is why I love it so much. Music is why I love BAND class so much.Yesterday, we had to go take our band assessment. I remember how nervous I was on the bus, as I was setting up my saxophone. The Dozier Band went into the high school, dead silent (for literally 4 hours straight). We went on that stage and did our best, and absolutely did amazing in the sight-reading room. When we finished, I was so relieved. As we waited for the bus to leave, I remember our band teacher coming onto the bus, so excited, telling us how we got straight ones! The best you can get! Everyone was screaming, and I was so happy for the rest of the day.

Beauty and the Beast

Yesterday, me and my family went to Beauty and the Beast. It was AMAZING. As good as the trailer made it seem in my opinion. They stick to the classic but make it seem new, with new details and songs. This movie was great! You guys should definitely go see it.

Birthday Madness

Hello Again! Today I would like to tell you about my birthday! My birthday was a while ago, February 6th, to be exact. I turned thirteen, and I had a blast. Me and my friends went to Breakout Games, and we had to escape out of a casino. When tokens fell out of the slot machine, we all screamed and fell on the floor! We made it out, with seconds left! It was intense, but so much fun! We went back and ate cake, opened presents, and goofed around a bit.

With my family, we went to Outback. I got a spicy steak. When we got home, we opened my presents (thanks everyone for the gifts!) and ate cake. I got a white chocolate raspberry cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes. It was delicious!

PJ Day!!!

Today, was the best school day EVER!!! First, if you read my title, we had PJ day! A.K.A. Pajama Day! Second, it was a half day! Lastly, we got a sneak peek at our report cards. I got a B in math and an A in everything else! It felt weird because I have never gotten a B on my report card, but a B isn't bad. It just means I need to work harder and try harder. I hope all of you also had a great day!!!

Halloween

Boooooooooo!!! Halloween for me was a blast! I was Hermione Granger, from Harry Potter. It's my favorite series and I'm on the fifth book, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. My costume only came with a robe, so my mom bought me a white shirt, I borrowed my dad's tie, and my dad made me a wand! I also made my stuffed cat Crookshanks for Halloween! My sister, Gianna, was Angelica, from Pirates of the Caribbean (she didn't watch the movie though!). My other sisters, Isabella and Evangeline, were a witch and Little Red Riding Hood. After Trick 'er Treating, We watched Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. It was a great Halloween!!!

I want you to know about sleepovers with Tita and Tito because they're crazy and fun.  Gianna comes to sleep over, too.  First, we go to Target and buy a lot of candy, a $5.00 movie, and maybe some juice.  Sometimes, we do a craft.  Next, we make the beds on the couch.  They're very cozy.  Then we eat dinner and set up the snacks.  MOVIE TIME!!!  We all hop on the bed and watch the movie.  We eat while we watch.  One time, I mixed a mango drink and strawberry lemonade.  It was so good, I called it Paradise Punch!  After the movie, it is 11:00!!!  Then, we all go to bed.  In the morning, sometimes, we do another craft.  We also play marbles.  I collect and trade light green and blue ones.  Tito collects and trades the red and orange ones.  Tita and Gianna don't care what they get.  Then,
Gianna and I go home.

Then she said,

 And then, right after that,

The Sister's Club

I love this book because it's about three sisters.

Gianna and I are hosting a sister club like the sisters do in the book.

This book is funny because the mom thinks her babies are boys, but they're girls.  The mom and dad even call their babies boy names: Alex, Stevie, and Joey.

Alex calls herself the FOBS: first, oldest, and best sister.

Stevie came up with the sisters club.

Joey likes to write.

Mom has her own cooking show, and Dad cracks everybody up.

My Saturday

Today, I woke up early and last night I stayed up late!

Pretty funny, huh? 

I ate Cocoa Dino Bites and apple sauce for breakfast.

After that, I went outside for a little.

Then, I helped Mom cook.

Next, I went to my friend's party.

It was at the bowling alley.  We had so much fun!

Our Fall Beach Vacation

We had so much fun with our friends:

We dug a hole, built a sand castle and saw dolphins.

My dad and I found seashells.

Evangeline had fun, too!

Our Beach Vacation

When we left our house, we went to Burger King for lunch.

After that, we went to our cousins' house because we wanted to drive together.  Daddy brought walkie-talkies so that we could talk to each other.  The drive was really long because there was lots of traffic on the way.  When we were driving, Isabella was smelling my arm.

We went to the beach.
We went to the pool.

We made a big hole with walls around it on the beach.

We found shells and crabs.

Uncle Brian helped us find sand fiddlers.

Everybody celebrated their birthdays.

My birthday is in February, Gianna's is in June, Isabella's birthday is in August, and Evangeline's birthday is in November.

Brianna's birthday is in August, Abigail's birthday is in February, and James's birthday is in May.

We all had a bag, and NeNe filled them with a gift every day,

and Aunt Jen did crafts with us.

The beach house was really nice,

and we're going to have that beach house next year, too.

Banner

Sewing with Jonah

On Saturday, Jessica and Addie came over.
They made a banner with us.

Jessica brought Jonah, her sewing machine.  Sometimes we call him Noah because it kind of sounds like Jonah.  She brought different kinds of fabric, buttons, scissors, and string.  We cut out fabric into triangles.We sewed two triangles together with Jonah.  She brought little things that you can put the string through, and we put those on the corner of the triangles.  We sewed hearts on two of mine.  I made six triangles for my banner.  Gigi made them, too.  She made seven.  Then we put everything together.

Gianna said:

Roller Coaster

I'm on Spring Break this week.

I don't have any school, and I get to have some fun.

I found a big rock.

On Monday, we went to Busch Gardens in Williamsburg.
My mommy, my daddy, Gianna and Isabella went.
I rode the Loch Ness Monster for the first time.
It's a roller coaster that goes up a big steep hill, and then goes down and upside down super fast.
I rode the Loch Ness Monster three times - one time with my mom and two times with my dad.

Marketplace

 

 I made postcards for Marketplace.

Marketplace is a school project that I did at school.
Everybody in first grade had to make their own items to sell at Marketplace.  I made eighty postcards.  We sold them to our class, to the whole first-grade pod, at a PTA meeting, and to the whole school.  It was exciting!

Trashbag

Twin Night (minus Abbey)

Me and Abbey wore trash bags to AWANA for Twin Night.

We were going to wear pink shirts with blue jeans and brown& pink shoes with one braid in our hair.

My daddy thought that we should wear trash bags instead.
He cut the trash bag for me.
